Jazzodrom – Austrian Jazz Quintet

Five years following the widely acclaimed release of ‘Places and Spaces’, innumerable solo projects and highly popular diversions into more or less foreign terrain – including sessions with Parov Stelar, Hubert von Goisern and Nils Landgren – Jazzodrom at last return to the international scene with the release of their new album ‘Another World’ and an extended European tour. 

In their new set, the quintet deliver a rich synthesis formed from the old traditions of Soul Jazz and the myriad influences each member of the band has drawn from their heterogeneous artistic realities. Fragile motives meet urban groove, velvety hooks meet no-compromise breakbeat and smoky acoustic instrumentation meets modern electronic sounds. Jazzodrom have fun extending their boundaries while making music that engages the listener. Live, the band delivers a sensitive yet highly energetic performance that again and again thrills the audience and critics to enthusiasm.
